Come knit and crochet with us on the third Thursday of every month, 10 am to 1 pm. We meet at the Dot2Dot Cafe, home of the best breakfast dish in Boston ("Boston Phoenix"). I started this group because my friends and I love to knit and/or crochet, and we love Dot2Dot's French toast with homemade brioche bread and eggs Benedict with Hollandaise made from scratch. Lighter fare available too. Dot2Dot's chef/owner is a knitter, too! Dot2Dot is in Dorchester, convenient to the Red Line, easy to reac …

I hope this group will provide a forum for socializing, sharing patterns and projects, commiserating about yarn hoards, and enjoying the local brews. This is a group for anyone who loves to knit or wants to learn to knit. We will work on small projects for donations, particularly hats, scarves and mittens to be donated during the "Midnight Run" over the winter. Beginners welcome, help will be available. Bring your yarn scraps or whatever leftovers you have. I can probably reserve a space in a local White Plains School for an evening once a week. Remembers, scarves are simple and you can easily learn and have fun at the same time!

Hoping to start an all-crafts-friendly group in the greater New Haven area, with an emphasis on crocheting and knitting. As you can see by the description, I am looking for people who are into the Riot Grrl ethos (though the group is not meant to be gender specific in any way). Would like to find a place to meet where we can listen to music we all enjoy, while we share our experiences and techniques in the crafting world. All levels of skill are welcome- never started? I'm sure someone will be a …

I noticed there were no Stich n' Bitch type groups for younger people on the South Shore. Would love to have other people in my age bracket to stich n' bitch with! Knitting, crochet, needlepoint, embroidery - all projects welcome! I'm happy to host or we can find a fun place to gather. Looking forward to meeting new friends!
Calling all awesome, fun people in Hartford and the surrounding area who are into crafts of all kind - sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking, book making, paper crafts, embroidery, needlepoint, etc. The idea is to meet a couple times a month, preferably at an adult beverage-serving establishment, and get our craft on! Maybe field trips to local museums or stores for stash-building, too.
Why do all knitting groups have to be shy and awkward? If you'd like to meet up with some other ladies (or gentlemen!) who know how to have a good time while getting crafty, then you've found the right group. The goal is to meet like-minded people, who may also be new to the area and looking for a good way to meet people. We get together over happy hour every Wednesday, and have some laughs while working on any amazing or shamelessly crappy projects. We have established ourselves as a group that …
We get together every other Sunday for sewing/knitting in Wayland at Traditions, and spread out in the dining area. We also do scrapbooking once a month on Fridays Most of the meetups are pretty small averaging about 2-4 people. It's a nice way to meet others and get the motivation to get something accomplished.

It’s also a great day to gather with old friends and meet new ones. Set time aside for yourself to talk, laugh, snack, learn, get new ideas and motivation while having a great time. Take some time to spend with the ladies. Every gal …
